Our Story: Why We Built the Agribusiness Simulation Tool
Every day, I meet passionate farmers, entrepreneurs, and youth with big dreams — but limited tools to truly test and grow those ideas. I’ve sat with a maize farmer in Nakuru wondering if switching seed varieties would double his yield. I’ve spoken with a youth-led agribusiness startup unsure whether to invest in irrigation or marketing.
And that’s why I built this simulation model.
This is more than just numbers and charts — it’s about giving our people the power to make better decisions with confidence. It’s about removing guesswork and showing real possibilities through real data. This simulation is our way of saying: “Yes, you can predict, you can plan, and you can prosper.”
This isn't something imported or imagined in a lab. It was built here, for us — with Kenyan data, for Kenyan farmers, cooperatives, and local governments. It's simple enough for a youth group to use, but smart enough for a county planner.
